The Provo River Parkway Trail – Provo Canyon Section is an easy paved trail that is very family friendly and can be done as an out-n-back or a car shuttle. The most popular section runs past the base of Bridal Veil Falls and draws a large crowd on weekends. This trail extends west past the canyon and you can ride all the way to where the Provo River feeds into Utah Lake. However, this post will describe the Provo Canyon section only. We will provide a separate post for the section that runs from Provo Canyon to Utah lake. The Provo Canyon section is 5.8 miles from the Provo Canyon Trailhead to Vivan Park, but with so many other trail head options you can tailor this ride to your family’s abilities.
